Ethics for GCSE

Ethics for GCSE

Ethics for GCSE will be published in September, and we will be happy to send you an inspection copy. Please email your name, position held in school, and the school's address to

This illustrated textbook covers the syllabus for students focusing on ethics from a Christian perspective. It provides questions, examples and case histories to engage pupils at every stage and at every level.

Each topic includes personal stories and discussion, a glossary, an introduction emphasizing the main points, the religious viewpoint, a summary and revision questions.

Ethics for GCSE contains all that is essential for OCR syllabus B (ethics), AQA RS A, option 2A, and Edexcel RS A, unit B.

Comments from teachers include:

'I would use this in a school because the information is accessible, and yet could lead to challenging discussion.'

'Students will respond to the mature, yet simple way the information is presented to them. Teachers generally look for textbooks that can furnish what they teach, and this does the job really well. It gives the scaffolding to any other sheets and materials that you might need to use. You could also use some sections for Year 9 as a Gifted and Talented exercise.'
